In safe hands with giropay
TREAT REQUESTS BY E-MAIL OR TELEPHONE WITH CAUTION
We will never request personal details or ask you for sensitive data (e.g. PIN and TAN or bank details) by e-mail or telephone. Also, we will never ask you to install software or apps on your computer or smartphone. And we don't send any supposed invoices by e-mail.
Therefore, delete any e-mails from unknown senders with web links, archives and other attachments immediately, and remove the messages from your computer as quickly as possible! By doing so, you will prevent viruses and Trojans from infecting your computer or smartphone. Never click on web links in e-mails! Even if the sender seems familiar, it could be a fraudulent message. Never disclose passwords, login names or other important details, and never trust promises or threats in the subject field! And make sure you have got up-to-date anti-virus software installed!
Have you received an e-mail purporting to be from giropay or a supposedly commissioned collection agency or law firm with an invoice or payment request?
These e-mails do not originate from giropay GmbH. Please do not open the e-mail attachment under any circumstances. We are in contact with the police investigation authorities about this matter. There is no need to forward the e-mail to us.
