Like any other entry, a transfer with giropay is documented in the account statement of your current account. The account statement is regarded as legally binding proof of a successful payment. If receipt of a payment is disputed, you can show the merchant definite proof of successful transfer in the form of the account statement. Further information is available from the account-managing bank.
